This week we take a look at the podcast from our sister station @2paeds who talked to Dr Helen Newsome about her paper looking at the not uncommon clinical scenario of a child presenting with minor head injury, no LOC, normal examination and observations but who has vomited more than 3 times as the only symptom of head injury. NICE guidance would suggest a CT scan is indicated however is a prolonged period of observation as good as identifying intracranial injuries
